Lebia Chatman is a writer, educator, author, bookstore owner, and founder of Creating Space Educational Services, NPO. She is passionate about providing opportunities for her community to express their creativity and excel in literacy.

Lebia is also a wellness advocate. Throughout her therapy journey, she has remained committed to encouraging women to use writing to process their emotions. In line with this work, she is hosting a retreat in Long Beach, California on October 11-12, 2025 in order to provide a safe space for women to heal in a relaxing setting.
